I installed the new driver, 6.5.17.1 and the debug messages are gone:
Great. Thank you very much. Camera is working properly now.
Yes, this driver is now working correctly.
Hi,
I have also a problem with MaximDL am my ASI6200MM and MC. When I try to shoot I get the message: "Error starting exposure Could not set subframe or bin ASCOM properties.
Is there a help?
You may want to try the currently listed driver. It did fix the problem I reported earlier. Please post your result after you install the new driver v6.5.1.5

I have already istalled the new driver.
When I use APT it works fine. The fault is only with MaximDL!
Hello Konstantin 1- First, you must setup the ASCOM driver as you had done in the past. Make sure it is V6.5.17.1. Photo1 2- Once the the camera is connected, you must add the Offset value manually in the new little pop up window. Photo2 3- If you don't add the offset manually and leave it as -1, you will get the error you described. Photo3
Were I can download the 6.5.17.1 Version? I only see the version 6.5.1.5!
It works. Sorry I havent done a test. Can you change the behavior si I have not to set the offset every time I connect to the camera?

SamS We have tested in Maxlm DL without this issue.
Sorry, I'm just an end user like yourself.
But I agree, it is annoying. It should remember the last setting or at least copy the value through the ASCOM driver setting if it was one of the presets.
Wich version of MaximDL you have tested?
Poschinger MaxIm DL 5
That is a old version. The actual version is MaximDL 6.26
Poschinger So I think you need to contact MDL for this issue.
