Greetings - I have a Meade LX850 GPS mount, which is compatible with the ASIAir Pro. Attached and controllable via mount commands is a "Meade Zero Image Shift Electronic Micro Focuser" that comes standard with LX850 scopes. Since the ASIAIR already has compliance with the mount and the mount controls the autofocuser, is there any way to make ASIAir Pro to control the Meade autofocuser as well? (e.g. addition of several simple ASCOM compliant commands in the software module?) In a worst case scenario, I'd use the EAF (redundant capability, out-of-stock across the planet)... but it doesn't have an attachment that is compatible with the Meade APO Crayford focuser. So I seem to be stuck with inferior, unfocused photos with my ZWO system of choice. That is a dead end that I didn't count on when I spent $5K for the camera system. Please tell me I've missed something.
