should asicap work the ASI533MC-Pro? my 120mc-s works fine with asicap, but the ASI533MC-Pro is never detected, I wondered it it was a power issue, so I plugged to ASI533MC-Pro power into the asiair pro to supply power, but the ASI533MC-Pro is still not detected.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Could you check the device manager?
When you plug the camera into the computer, can you hear the sound of the USB device connected, and is there any new device that appears in the device manager?
Did you try it with different cables, ports, and computers?
Does the device manager display the correct camera name?
And if there is an error code, please send us the screenshots of the device manager.

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.
I am using Asicap on my android phone, if I plug the 120 mc-s into the OTG and start up the Asicap app, it detects my 120 immediately, if I do the same with the 533 connected instead (using the 533 usb3 cable) nothing gets detected, I have to put my scope away everytime it gets used, so I wanted to use the Asicap to pre focus for time saving. Obviously the 533 cable works fine on the Asiair pro.
If it should be able to be detected, could it be a power issue? I thought power was just for cooling? please correct me if I am wrong.

According to your description, it is probably a power issue. If your device can not provide enough current, please use an external 12V power supply to power the camera.

Thank you, I found the solution, I managed to get the 533 working with asicap, a quirk of the phone I was using a Sony xperia z5 (not my main phone) means everytime I unplugged one camera (the 120) the phone had to have USB detection re-enabled, when I realised this, re-enabled USB detection (needed for the otg connector) up it fired. So if anyone has a similar problem, I suggest you check the usb connections on the phone software.
