IS my 1600GT broken?

I have two cameras, a 174 and a 1600GT. Both always worked well. I used usb2 for the 174 over a long ethernet cable link, and usb3 for the 1600GT into a local SB Fusion computer unit. I have rebuilt the observatory. I now wish to use the 1600GT with usb2 and the long ethernet link.
It does not work.
I can get images from the 174 using this cabling from the remote computer to the 174. All is well using ASI studio. When I plug that exact same usb connector from the 174 into the 1600GT (all the cable and electronics unchanged), and restart ASI Studio, the camera is recognized, cooling will go in or off, an exposure is started and seems to complete properly, but no image appears. The message is " exposure failed".

So cooling is normal? Did you try it with different cables, ports, and computers?
If yes,
Could you test it in ASIStudio-ASICAP on Windows PC? Please connect the camera directly to the PC, do not use any hub.

Please set short exposures such as 10ms in video mode or preview mode, and check the fps, if fps continues to show 0 and the camera does not display an image, the camera needs to be sent back for repair, and take a screenshot of ASICAP software to show us the fps.

Yes, the 1600GT works fine on both usb3 and on usb2 when connected directly to the Windows PC and ASI Studio.
However, when the 1600GT is connected via the 30M ethernet cable with the extender system it does not return images although the exposure does get changed, cooling is controlled and binning and gain seem to change.
The 174 has none of this problem; it works just fine with the usb2 extension system. I expected two cameras from the same manufacturer to behave similarly.
Two cameras, one system, 174 works, 1600GT does not.
I don't know what to do. Please help.

We don't guarantee this method. We only guarantee this:

Performing the ASICAP evaluation as directed:
9.5 frames per second when directly connected to computer
0.5 or less frames per second when connected via the extension cable.
I guess that tells the story. Is there any change I can make? It seems the buffer was not used. I hope to use 120 second exposure time.
