120MM not showing up in PHD

I need help. I have an ASI120MM and it doesn't show up in PHD. I reinstalled the driver with no change. It does make a sound when I plugin the USB.
Any ideas?

Auralalchemy try a high quality cable if you aren't using one. I was having disconnect issues until I switched to an anker brand cable.

I think that is not a type C, what type is it so I can order one. Also I didn't have Ascom installed and wasn't using a USB 2 port. Hopefully all of these things will clear up the problem.

Okay well it is a type C so nevermind.

So I confirmed that it shows up in ASI studio with the supplied Cable plugged into the USB 2 port. I then tried it with PHD and it didn't work. If ASI studio had guiding I would be fine with it but it doesn't so I need a solution. I think I have passed the point where I can return this to the seller so I am stuck.

The camera could be detected in ASIstudio that proves the camera and the driver is ok
Please try to reinstall the PHD or try on another computer

I don't have another computer to try it on. Looks like I am stuck with it then huh? The actual manufacturer can't help me and isn't offering to take it back?
