ASI2400MC Pro: How to change output file type

As I wrote, I am trying to change the output file type of the ASI2400MC Pro camera. Currently the camera outputs PNG files, which surprised me since I was under the impression that FITS files were standard in the astronomy field. I would also be interested in outputting a raw image file as opposed to a PNG file, as I am trying to measure photon counts as best as I can with this camera. If you have suggestions for how I can do this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I looked back at the camera and it turns out the model is actually ASI6200MM Pro. I made a mistake when I claimed the camera was an ASI2400MC.

I tried changing between RAW8 and RAW16, and both options output a PNG file.

You must click "save" icon instead of "camera" icon:

I forgot to reply, but using the camera button actually produced FIT files! Thank you! 🙂
