The ZWO "pro" cameras have built in fast memory. The sensor data is first read quickly into that memory, and then the memory is transferred through USB to your computer. There should not be additional amp glow with a slower USB transfer rate.
Your old dark frames should work fine, since they too were taken at the transfer rate of the built-in RAM.
