That does not sound too promising, I'm afraid.
The only other detail is to ensure that a good 12V source is connected to the camera, in case the USB port of the computer does not have sufficient current to supply the camera through the USB port.
You are well within the warranty period, perhaps it is time to contact the dealer.
Depending on how supportive the dealer is, they might ask you to contact ZWO to get a RMA number anyway, so it might be useful to initiate contact with ZWO directly. Some dealers will do all the leg work for you; and some will not lift a finger. ZWO recently publish rma@zwoptical.com as an address; perhaps contact support too, though the link at ZWO's main web site. Give them the symptoms.
ZWO usually deflects ASIAIR problems, and ask you to test with their ASIStudio suite (almost like they don't trust their own ASIAIR). So it is good that you already have a record of it not working in ASIimg. Perhaps do the extra homework using ASIcap too and send ZWO all the data; so there is no excuses to keep them from issuing an RMA.
If there is published firmware for the camera model, it could be worth trying to download the firware again, in case the firmware has become corrupted. But I would contact ZWO first, in case there is a risk of bricking the camera completely. They may also be able to point you to where you can find the camera firmware, or present a way where they can remotely diagnose the camera.
