1600 Pro and EFW Mini Issues

I am having trouble all of a sudden getting the ASI 1600 Pro to connect with my ASIAIR Pro and when it does connect, the fan turns on, but it will not recognize the camera now. and sometimes the camera is recognized but not the filter wheel. I have tried the following:

Switched the USB 3.0 camera cable and the USB 2.0 EFW connecting cable.
I have tried changing the ports that I use, my Camera plugs into one of the two USB3 ports on the ASIAIR Pro.
I have tried plugging the EFW into the either of the 2 ports on the camera and have even tried plugging it into the ASIAIR Pro directly into one of the two USB2 ports on it and still cannot connect.
The best I have been able to do is get my camera, guide camera (ASI1290) EAF and Mount connected and running, have not been able to get the filter wheel recognized and what good is a camera without the filter wheel.
I tried running the camera directly from a PC using ASI-Studio and ASI-img and even there it wont recognize the camera, though once I was able to get it connected and then same thing, would not recognize the filter wheel.
I also reimaged the micro SD card on the ASIAIR per instruction and no difference.

The Camera is only 8 months old and was working just fine until now. I was hoping someone might be able to suggest a better way to trouble shoot this in a logical manner that actual eliminates the variables of ports on the camera, ports on the ASI AIR and how to possibly determine if the issue is with the camera, EFW or ASIAIR somehow.

Have you checked and verified that the power supply of the ASI1600 camera is providing enough power?

wvreeven Thanks, I will check the outputs from the ASIAIR and from my Battery to the ASIAIR, been researching ways to check the power to each of the USB ports to see if one is not getting power, I run my cables as follows

ASIAIR USB 3.0
Port 1 to Camera 1600 Pro
Port 2 to Rainbow Astro RST-135 mount

ASIAIR USB 2.0
Port 1 to EAF
Port 2 to Guider

ASIAIR Power
Power Port 1 - Camera 1600 Pro
Power Port 2 - EAF
Power Port 3 and 4 - Empty

ASI1600 Pro Camera USB hub
Port 1 to EFW
Port 2 Empty

It should be simple enough and I had hoped bullet proof, but maybe not!
Also, I have never seen this questioned answered - Is it OK to switch USB ports while the ASIAIR is on?
Don't want to mess anything else up further.

Try with a direct power supply connected to the ASI1600 i.e. not powering it from the ASIAIR and see if that solves the issue.

Not sure if the ASIAIR will handle swapping USB connections while it’s running.
