hello, I have a CGX and an AsiAirPro (AAP) and I have found a certain balance with the set up in this way: Update the AAP firmware always the Celestron one only if requested by the AAP app. operationally, with the mount off and well stationed, make a PA connection with AAP by acting on the knobs of the mount. then turn on the mount and load the GPS data, move to the index position and align to a star. return to index position, at this point connect the mount to the AAP and do a plate solving after Sync and Goto. I state that it is zwo's task to expand the AAP libraries to make everything easier and faster. AAP has this purpose, if it fails in this it makes no sense. things evolve and you have to keep up.
