Add ability to chose the default format in ASICap

I tend to forget to switch to 12bit RAW when doing Sun imaging or Lunar.
I would appreciate if you could add an option to chose the default mode so that it can be set to something that is my default mode instead fo the default RAW8 mode.

So it is RAW12 mode you want to add?

both mode (RAW8 and RAW12) are available on the drop down. But if I disconnect from the camera and reconnect, it default to RAW8 once again even though I had selected RAW12 before.
So I'd like a new preference setting where I can specify the default mode when connecting to a camera instead of having it always default to RAW8 (and in my case I would set it to RAW12 so that on connect it is set to RAW12 and I don't need to remember to change it).

I think you mean "RAW16" instead of "RAW12", as per SAM's request, ASICAP is for planetary imaging, it is appropriate that it default to RAW8 every time.

Yes, RAW16, sorry (I know the ADC is 12bits and then it's expanded to 16 bits.. )/
I use a 174MM for solar imaging and for my use case I want it to be RAW16 all the time. Same when using this camera on the Moon.
I have a 174MC-Cooled for planetary which I indeed use in 8 bits in this case.
So having the ability to have ASICap remember my setting would be a plus as If you disconnect, do something and reconnect it default to RAW8 .. even if I selected RAW16 before (by disconnect I mean stop the video and start the video using the Play/Stop button next to the camera selection drop down).
