Hello

    Aufeomme I can find it but what dos it say for me?

    It means that ZWO can add support for it to ASIAir Pro.

    I have asked ZWO on several occasions over the last year to add support for the Canon M50. The Canon M6 Mark II is on the supported list and has a Digic 8 processor which is also in M50. They must have solved most of the issues needed for M50 supporting the M6 Mark II. So how much longer before the M50 is aded to the list of supported Canon cameras?

    And as M50 appeared on the gphoto 2 list of supported cameras before M6 Mark II they have had the api they need to write the connection for us for an even longer period of time than they have for M6 Mark II. So please please please ad Canon M50!!!!

    Yea. I don´t have a ASIAIR Pro jet. Without camara support it makes no sense for me to buy one but i will buy one if the M50 is supported. I guess it is not a huge change and i hope Zwo can do that soon.

    Hi everyone,
    Canon M50 has been conveyed to our ASIAIR team!

    tech@zwo thats are realy good news. any thoughts how long this takes typical?

      @tech@zwo thank you very much. you are welcome 😃

      @tech@zwo Hello. A month is gone. If there someting new regarding the M50 support?

        @Aufeomme They « don’t have the budget for this » :

        @tech@zwo#49697 Sorry, there are just too many DSLR models on the market including Canon, and we have plan to add more brands. It is impossible to use our budget to buy lots of DSLR to test just once or twice and it is useless once it is flawlessly supported. So we still need to rely on fans and customers to help with the test, and the quickest way to solve all issues is to borrow us the camera to debug.

        Hey. Nothing new? If Lain402 is right thats a huge mistake from ZWO. When they want sell stuff they have to do her tasks.
        "It is impossible to use our budget to buy lots of DSLR" <-thats a joke?"Lots of DSLR"? Seems like there a hunderts of DSLR released each month - lol. If a company not able to get test samples from other competitors or rent models is that realy lame. Only promise without solutions from ZWO. I think nothing will happens and the M50 will not take up. So i have do search for other solution. I don´t will wait years for a simple driver inclution. Thank you for nothing ZWO 🙁

        I own an M50 and it seems to be still not supported today :-(

        6 months later

        I am purchasing a new scope for this summer and am considering a ASIAir Plus, to go with it, as a replacement for my INDI/Ekos/KStars setup, but my primary camera is the M50. I am happy to help with testing, but would like some level of assurance that there is even basic functionality with my camera. At last recall, the M50 uses CR3, which is not well supported in on the older Linux tools, but has been developing. As CR3 is the newest RAW format, it would be prudent for ZWO to devote some effort here; this isn't just about support the M50.. it's about supporting the majority of Canon's latest cameras. Unfortunately, purchasing a ASIAir+ and a ZWO camera is too far out of my budget.
