Asiair Switch device doesn't work

Hello,

I have recently acquired an ASIAir V1 in addition to my ASIAir Pro. During my test I couldn't manage to use the "switch device" feature on the app.

In the example below I am connected to my ASIAIR V1, the pro is on and his Wifi accessible but the app doesn't find it.

Is it the expected beahvior? Does the switch device only works with two pros and not with the V1?

What I need to do is to switch wifi network on my phone ant then go to the app but it's less convenient than to change the device directly on the app.

The ASIAIR app is capable of switching between multiple ASIAIR (I use a v1 as a constantly on All Sky camera, and two of the ASIAIR v2 for "normal" use and constantly switch between them).

You can only see all the ASIAIR at the same time if they are all on the same network (for example, all of them are connected to your home network router and your tablet is also connected to the home network). If you are using the ASIAIR as direct WiFi Hotspots, you will still need to switch the network settings of your tablet to the proper hotspot to see a particular ASIAIR hardware.

I see, thank you very much for you reply.
As I'm only imaging in the field (i.e. not in my backyard) I have to use mys Asiairs as direct Wifi hotspots.
Do you think this is a technical limitation because It seems to me that the app could identify the Asiair's Wifi hotspot, list them and change the wifi on the tablet accordingly?

This is how network domains work.

If you want both ASIAIR to be on the same domain, just get a WiFi Router and let that be the server.
