Asiair Pro connectivity issues with iPhone 11

Hello

I just got my asiair pro and last night tried to connect it to my iPhone. The only way I could do it was by switching off my cellular data. Then I have no means of connecting to the internet to troubleshoot and look for information etc.
Is there any way around this or will I always have to disconnect my data to connect to the asiair. I shoot where I can’t reach my home wifi.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

To connect to the ASIAIR, you have to connect to its WiFi link. I am not aware of being able to use a device to simultaneously connect to the ASIAIR and the Internet unless you are doing it through your local WiFi network.

johnpd Thanks for the response. I mean, when I connect to the asiair wifi it kicks my phone onto cellular data and I can’t access the internet. So do I need to now have a separate device to run it?

I have the same issue! I cannot connect to the ASIAIR+ unless I turn off “Cellular Data” on my iPhone. It will not connect even by IP address, in spite of the ASIAIR SSID being visible in the top left. Once connected, I can turn cellular data back on and it does not disconnect, however. This is an annoying bug which should be fixed! This is not necessary on my iPad, which has no cellular.

This problem is because the iOS system automatically switches to cellular data when it detects that ASIAIR_WiFi cannot access the Internet. You can turn off the WLAN Assist function in iOS Settings-Cellular to see if it works
