ASI071MC Pro crosshatch pattern

I setup last night, and started cooling the camera to -10C. It showed as cool, and I started taking subs of Andromeda. The first sub shows strong crosshatching on the bottom half, and the second had about half as much. After that, the cross hatch was gone... this was easily seen with the default stretch that NINA uses.

Any ideas why? Seems related to the cooling, but not sure that makes sense.

Probably ice.

If you are not already doing it, cool the camera in steps, instead of from +10ºC down to -10ºC in one continuous ramp. At the least, pausing for a few minutes around 0ºC before cooling further.

If it persists, you may also need to replace/rejuvinate the camera's desiccant tablets.

Definitely ice.. could see it tonight while taking flats. Went away in about 10 minutes.. Camera is brand new.. is that normal, to replace/rejuvenate already?

This is condensation and this can be fixed.
Please follow this guide and redry the camera.

If this happens again you can also send the camera back for repair.

It is not normal for new.
I have to dry my 071MCPro at least once a year. I think this model does have more problems with icing than others.
