I was not intentionally trying to create a problem, but, when doing some imaging in preview mode, the mount went past the meridian by just a tiny bit. I then programmed for an autorun sequence in Cygnus, and hit the start button. I fully expected it to do a flip immediately, but it took the first 500 second exposure in the series while steadily turning past the meridian. I let it start the next exposure, and at that point realized it was going to keep on going until it hit the tripod. I paused the sequence, directed the mount to go to the home position, which it did, and started the autorun sequence again. At that point, it did the flip, and there was no more danger to the scope/mount. I’m thinking that I found a loophole in the software that needs to be addressed.
