ASI 2600MM Pro exposure failed

Hi,

I just received my new ASI 2600MM Pro and I am unable to acquire images. I can however connect and control the camera: For instance I can turn the cooling on and off. But whenever I try to take a picture, I get the error message „exposure failed“.

What I have tried so far:

Three different USB cables
Three differen computers: Desktop, Laptop and Raspberry Pi
Windows and Linux
Three different programs: ASIStudio, Sharpcap and Ekos
Various USB bandwidth settings
Various image sizes
Various gain settings
Various exposure times
8-bit and 16-bit
USB 3.0 and 2.0 connection
Various 12V power supplies (up to 10A)

All of the above did not work. I also have an ASI 120MM-S, which works just fine. I have the latest driver and ASIStudio installed on Windows.

What else can I do?

Hi Torben,
Could you test it in ASIStudio-ASICAP on Windows PC?
Please connect the camera directly to the PC, do not use any hub, and keep the 12V power supply connecting.

Please set short exposures such as 10ms in video mode or preview mode, and check the fps, if fps continues to show 0 and the camera does not display an image, the camera needs to be sent back for repair, and take a screenshot of ASICAP software to show us the fps and submit it on https://support.astronomy-imaging-camera.com/ under "Product".

I have the same issue. Just got this camera and right off the start it is doing the same thing... The only way i can get it to partially work is to put it in front of a heater for about 10 -12 minutes then maybe it will connect to the software. Video Link of issue to come....

Update to the latest version ASIStudio and native driver. https://astronomy-imaging-camera.com/software-drivers
Test it with different cables, ports, computers, and 12V power supplies(must connect the 12V power supply if it is a cooled camera)
Make sure don't have multiple software running the camera at the same time
Test the camera in ASIStudio-ASICAP on windows, and set 10ms exposure time, if the fps=0, take a screenshot and submit it on https://support.astronomy-imaging-camera.com/ under "Product".

I'm having the same issue ASI2600MM, ASI Studio recognizes the camera but the image download fails. I've tried 3x new USB 3.0 cables, 2x different Windows computers, 2x different power supplies and different USB ports on both computers. Camera was working fine last night but nothing today - very frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated

sitt Check the 12V power to the camera (it needs that to work in addition to the USB cable)
