norm2121 I want to go back to the previous firmware/software version if possible.
Perhaps this might help:

ZWO keeps ASIAIR firmware as a payload in the ASIAIR app itself. So, unless you have some older version of the app, you will not be able to run the ASIAIR box on the older matching firmware. If you have an older app, you can first install firmware that is at least as old as the firmware in the ASIAIR app you want to run, like the one you had archived and saved, or the copy that the third generation ASIAIR has archived for you. You can then update the firmware to the one that matches the app.
It is very easy to do on Android -- do a web search for "Android APK files" to find out how to restore older install files. You may also be able to get on older APK file from a friend (after asking ZWO for permission to ignore the copyright EULA).
It is not as easy on iOS, unless you had been using iMazing to archive your apps all along, but you might be able to find a Beta version that works for you in the iOS TestFlight program (see the link above). I don't know if you can connect your iPad to a friend's iMazing archive on his/her Mac to download the older ASIAIR app -- I have never tried it.
