Multiple iPads with airPlus?

When I first launch the airPlus and an iPad, are they keyed together? Or can I buy another iPad at a later date and operate the airPlus with the newer iPad as well as with the original iPad?

Yes, the tablet is only a control/display interface (GUI) for ASIAIR.

The ASIAIR will even support multiple concurrent iOS devices connected to it. A few things (like converting Video files into MP4) are done inside iOS, but pretty much everything is done inside the Raspberry Pi.

I use and flip back and forth between my iPad and iPhone during a night… they work together fine and don’t effect operations. I wouldn’t recommend sending commands or changing settings on both simultaneously, but have one doing viewing and another doing operations on the other you won’t have any issues.

Thanks for the comments. I received the Air Plus today and tried it out with my old iPad mini 2. Works great in parallel with my Air Pro/iPad mini4. The Air Pro and Plus have made all the difference and kept me from leaving the hobby.

I noticed some "conflicts" when going back an forth between Ios and Android devices.
I was in preview mode on Ios. My android device was sleeping but the application was on video. When I woke up the Android device to shut down the app, it somehow messed up with the app state because then, the Ios device was showing preview mode in the right pane but the image was definitely a video.

I have occasionally run into an out-of-sync situations like this a few times. it's usually when one of the devices/apps has been idle a little while and a routine of some sort is running. sometimes things get out of whack, but nothing is wrong and it doesn't impact the routine running on the AA+. I think it would be best if ZWO were to bake in a full GUI refresh if a device connects that's been idle more than a few minutes.

The workaround here is simply kill the app and relaunch and it will be 100% in sync, I've never not had this work before and I constantly use two devices during the same session.
