ASIAIR Pro with an EQ6 r Pro Mount, Field Rotation Capture.

Even if I use an equatorial mount (EQ6 r Pro), the field of view of my celestial objet rotate during the night. See image below.!

Do you have the same issue with your setup?

Field Rotation is caused by imprecise polar alignment.

CProulx It is either imprecise polar alignment or one or more parts of the telescope are loose and rotate over time. Is the rotation gradual or sudden? If gradual then it really points to Imprecise polar alignment, no matter what the polar alignment routine tells you. Do you use ASIAir to do polar alignment?

Your Pa seems to be ok as there’s no visible star trails on your images. One part of the imaging train may be slightly rotating during your session. Your camera or your manual fuel rotator maybe.
