ASIAIRpro will not recognize my Ethernet wired connection

For some it does not recognize my ethernet cable or will not even allow me to Enable the STA mode to connect to my home WIFI.. Therefore the only way I can use my equipement now is by staying close to ASIair pro and freezing outside.. Is there a solution to this?

Finally let me set up STA mode... however it will not let me use Ethernet cable to connect..

ttnownow I used to use a 50 foot Ethernet cable all the time to connect my ASIair Pro to my home network, before had it modified with an external antenna. Now because of the vastly improved signal strength I can connect my ASIair Pro to my home network, without that cable. I have no problem with either my Samsung tablet or my Iphone. As I compared your video of your WiFi page to mine they are identical, with the exception that in my Wired Ethernet line unlike yours, my internet IP address is shown. When I click on that line it opens to the next page that shows the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway information. The Configure IP is set to automatic........ Sorry, I am an idiot when it comes to understanding all of what this stuff means. My son set my system up to connect via Ethernet Cable for me last year. So I cannot help you more than this, but hopefully something I mention here might help you.

I cannot get Station Mode or Ethernet to work. I've narrowed it down to an Android issue. Have no problem on an iPad but tried it on 2 different Andriod devices and neither would work. I am using the ASIAIR PLUS.

elineberry75 Thanks for your feedback... I just tried it on iPad and same issue for me.. Does not like the Ethernet cable being plugged in.. The only new thing is a new modern Modem with my ISP.. Asiairpro does not seem to like it for some reason? I have two asiairpro's and same thing on both.. worked fine under my old modem..

Byrdsfan1948 THanks... for your input.. I used a 100 foot Ethernet cable to my rig outside and it was great.. now with a modern modem it does not work.. Frustrating indeed..
