matthewhumphrey I just observed something very similar last night and I'm stumped as to what is the problem. I had successfully polar aligned and commanded a GoTo for my desired, manually-eneered coordinates on the Mount Control Panel, and got underway with an Autorun. About 10 subs into the autorun, I went to check the progress and saw on my tablet that tracking was literally off the chart. I feared a mount stall but there was none, all looked fine. However, in the course of trying to solve what was wrong, I found tracking kept disabling every time I restarted guiding, or even if guiding was in progress but obviously awry with stars moving too quick...tracking had again become disabled. If I went to the Mount page and re-enabled tracking, it just disabled on returning to the Guiding page. So, I proceeded to reset everything...GoTo Home (this worked), perform a new PA (successful and accurate), manually slew to a new location and do a plate solve....again, all was good. However, when I commanded a GoTo for the target coordinates, although the Current and Target positions were displayed and presumably a mount slewing being commanded, the mount didn't move at all. Basically, any type of GoTo operation failed to obtain actual mount movement, with except of GoTo Home, which always worked. I finally decided to reset the firmware for my ASIAir Plus and when that failed to provide a resolution, I gave up for the night. I'm totally baffled by what is wrong.
Hmmm...oddly the replies to Matthews original message didn't show up until I made my post. So, seeing what was suggested, I'll try a 1-star alignment tonight and see if that provides a solution. Even if it does, I'm puzzled what could have occurred to cause this problem when all seemed fine at the start of an imaging run and only failed once it had progressed through a few captures.
