Hey all
I am going to move over to a mono camera and I am wondering about the limitations of Plan mode in ASIAIR.
In a video by Astro with Roro he suggests a time-efficient way to image using filters, filter focus offsets and an EFW. For example:
Luminance > Dither > Luminance > Dither > Luminance > Dither > Red > Green > Blue [REPEAT]
(see here: https://youtu.be/d4dlh5Yzv80?t=461)
Roro uses NINA which is obviously a very powerful and granular system vs. ASIAIR simplicity.
So is it possible to cycle through the filters in such a way as above with ASI Air, or is the only option to go something like:
Luminance x 50, Dither each frame
Red x 20, Dither each frame
Green x 20, Dither each frame
Blue x 20, Dither each frame
The disadvantage of this method is the extra dithers, and if the clouds roll in you can end up with missing data from a channel.
Thanks!
