Just seen that v1.9-9.53 of the ASIAIR is available on the Apple App Store. Can you confirm whether this version has fixed the guiding calibration issues reported by several Celestron users?
There are numerous posts describing this issue. Of concern is forum member Jukka77’s recent update in the ‘Guiding calibration issue on CPC’ post where he states that issue was still there in the public beta v1.9.
To remind you, the problem many face using v1.8x is that guiding calibration fails, eg guiding crosshairs getting stuck, or not reversing direction to the East etc. As I’ve reported, reverting to v1.6x has resolved this and the AAP works a charm.
I and others eagerly await your response as when the AAP works, it’s a super device.
