@asiair@zwo#55116 Using latest build 35 I tried again and had the same connectivity issues as prior build 29 where the HC is not being detected, it appears to be related to the driver on the AA+ because I simply unplugged and replugged it in 3 times and it eventually worked. I cleaned the contacts with deoxit and tried a different cable. I also shut off the mount and AA+ and restarted and similar thing... it does work but it's taking multiple times to connect, between 2-6 times.
Some additional feedback:
1- like the new sky atlas - could you please change the font color when you select an object, it stays white and goes bold but it's actually hard to tell it's bold, maybe make it green or red along with bold to make it really stand out that an object was selected.
2- minor item but I noticed since build 26 or so that on shut-down the app gives an error that EAF was disconnected... seems to be a sequencing item
3- for normal polar alignment after rotating 60 degrees it goes right into image2, can you add a 2 second settle there. you have a settle time for APA, it would be good to have here as well, I've run into a few times where it can't solve the 2nd image and I think it's due to streaked stars
4-focus mode is not working correctly in latest build 35 (not sure about prior few beta builds as I didn't test) what happens is after choosing focus mode, you see the image, when you move the green box to center on a star to focus, when you hit play it zooms in but not within the box, it's elsewhere, and if you use the magnifying glass to zoom in on the star it's still not there. I tried about 5 times to get focus mode to work and never could successfully get it to lock onto a star
Overall the new UI tweaks are nice on the ipad & iphones.
