I have been using two separate power supplies since I received the AA+, the AA+ is on a switching power supply 12V 5 A.
this issue only started with the 1.9 beta. The workaround is simple when the AA+ does not recognize the AVX I simply un plug and plug it back in again.

Thank you for reply. Haven't tried them all, but there are at least few objects that can't be selected and several others that are difficult to. Among ones that can't be are: NGC2359(thor's helmet), IC2177(seagull nebula) and many smaller ones that are there but just are not selectable. In case of e.g. horsehead nebula (but not exclusive to) I have to zoom in to get an elipse to appear around nebula and only then I can select it. Sometimes it is difficult to get this elipse because I have to zoom in all the way to appear it and when I release fingers from screen to select it, it zooms out for a bit and loses elipse.
I gather this is just the beginning of a more interactive and complete sky atlas in the future. Anyhow, good job.
Meridian flip is now flawless.

One more problem still remains. Main camera disconection at the beginning is still there. The same issue that I reported in the past.

For when an option that allows you to change the resolution of the camera and not always use the native resolution. For example, I have the ZWO2600MC with a resolution of 6248*4176. How could I change it to 3124 X 2088 or another size, how can I do it in ASIStudio.

No. He is asking for smaller ROI for the smaller galaxies.

When you bin, the ROI does not change, the superpixels just got larger. The smaller galaxies would just become less sharp.

Both give the same number of (super)pixels, but one changes the ROI and the other does not.

w7ay That's right. But there are small objects, such as galaxies, planetary nebulae that can be enlarged quite a bit, and more so considering that my equipment is a SW Esprit 100, it has a short focal length, 5.5.

I have and old iPad Air 1st gen.
When I tap on SkyAtlas the alert shows up with information Current device doesn't have enough RAM to run SkyAtlas.

UI/UX Suggestion: instead of showing SkyAtlas button
1: one could create a condition if there's no enough RAM, don't show the button
or
2: create a switch somewhere in settings pane, to enable/disable SkyAtlas button and when not enough RAM, the switch could be grayed out

This way we could benefit from a bit larger space at the bottom for wider histogram.

@asiair@zwo#54868 if i may add, please make the ROI a visual adjustment in addition to setting coordinates. For example first take an image of a galaxy, then set the ROI by roughly dragging a rectangle [edit] because precise dragging on a touch device is hard [/edit] and fine-tune it by number inputs for x, y, width and height.

And if you decide to add the adjustment to modes, then we would need at least Preview, Autorun and Plan modes.

The Sky Atlas is a good feature, so far the 1.9 is a good improvement in function and the changes to the buttons have been nice. The main holdback is ROI adjustment for video, make this customizable by the user, additionally storing video in SER format would be great.

Just to confirm, there have been 2 TestFlight builds # 28 & 29 to the iOS but NO updates to firmware correct? I have not been prompted to do firmware updates on either of these builds. Thanks
