ASI6200MM Pro USB Connection Problems

When connecting the ASI6200MM PRO using the provided USB 3.0 cable to either the Pegasus Astro industrial hub or directly to a Intel NUC PC USB port, other devices plugged to the Pegasus Astro industrial hub terminate. BTW I am using a ASTROMI.CH GPS receiver on the Pegasus Astro hub with the NMEATime application. Can't run both the camera and GPS receiver concurrently. Any one trouble shot this one? Thank you in advance.

Do you have a 12V supply connected to the ASI6200? If not, I suspect that could be your problem.

Even without the cooler turned on, that camera violates the standard USB specifications for power draw through its USB connector. If you add the 12V supply, the camera will draw power from the 12V supply instead.

I run the ASI6200MM from a separate 12 V power supply and have no connection problems. However, I use Asiair Plus so maybe be a different issue.

Thanks for the information - very appreciated. I do have a 12v ZWO power supply, but I can try another unit that I have. I performed some other experimentation and this is what was discovered. The camera comes with a USB 3.0 cable and when the camera is plugged into the Pegasus Astro UPBv2 hub 3.1 port it takes down any other unit plugged into the UPBv2 hub. When I plug the ZWO camera w/3.0 cable directly into the PC it also crashes anything else plugged into the UPBv2 hub. When I plug the ZWO camera into the UPBv2 - 2.0 port everything works - albeit at the lower 2.0 speed. As you stated - I am suspect of compliance with the USB specification as well as the very long length of the USB 3.0 cable they provide (can't remember the length - 5'-6'). I will try the other power supply in the meantime.

Update --- I believe the problem may be the device driver v3.18.x, but need ZWO tech support to weigh in.
