183MC Pro Cooled RAW files inaccessible

I have 2,660 .RAW files that were created by my new 183MC Pro Cooled camera, but the files won't open with ANY software I have, or have found, that opens .RAW files.

Before I send this $800 boat anchor back for a refund, any thoughts or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated, because right now, if I can't access the images it creates, it's useless!

I used ASIStudio V1.6.1* on a 2019 MacBook Pro, and I've tried to open the images with ASIFitsView, PS, LR, GIMP, and anything else I could download - both on the Apple side and Win 8.1 virtual machine I have on the MacBook.

*I was just alerted of the V1.6.2 update and installing it now.

IV_Est_Fae Which software did you use to take the images?
If they were shot via ASIStudio, you can access them in the ASIFitsview.

The FITS standard was designed specifically for astronomical data, and needs specific software to view.

Shouldn't files be saved as .fits files.

Eriktim82 ASIStudio V1.6.1 (ASICap Planetary Imaging) saved the files as .raw.

This is one of the 2,660 files saved:

Rename the file with .PNG extension, see if you can open it with something like Preview on macOS.

My understanding is that when you turn on RAW switch, ASIAIR will output a PNG file that is not deBayered.

The file name does not look like was taken by ASICAP, if you choose raw 8, ASICap will save it as .PNG(image) or .AVI(video)
If possible could you re-take a file via ASIStudio, record a screen and share the video with us? please also share the file, thank you.
