damswil the thread attachment to the telescope is a 2" SC thread which i can connect that fine
If this is the Optec reducer, they use a dovetail to attach to cameras. Check for the dovetail where I mark it here:

You will need to buy an Optec mounting plate to go from that dovetail to a M42 T-thread (Optec #17392-xxx) that matches the flange focal distance of your camera (or just add enough spacers to get the correct backfocus).

As mentioned in the above web page, xxx is 2.39 minus the backfocus, where backfocus is measured in inches (Optec still use Imperial units for some weird reason). You can see some of the "standard" tube lengths in table in the above web page (e.g., 17392-1.56 for the QHY-8 camera).
Contact your dealer to find the correct adapter if you are unsure of the xxx.
