ZWO's specifications for the ASI678MC (as of Aug 30, 2022) shows:
This is wrong.
The protection window is an anti-reflection (AR) window, it will pass near-IR. (At least, for the camera that I bought.)

w7ay Chen, We are so sorry for the mistake and thank you for point out. We modified it.
Apologies again.
@Tech@ZWO#58201 what are the implications of not having the IR filter? Does this mean one has to be added for simple one shot planetary imaging?
franco Because there are some users who want to image planetary in multiple wavelengths. Usually, IR cut is recommended.
@Tech@ZWO#58252 That's what I thought but the question is; what do I need to buy to use the camera as if it had the previously advertised IR cut protect window? I was just waiting for them to be stocked by my local supplier (in Perth, WA) before I bought one. I wasn't expecting to have to buy anything else to use it.
franco You can buy a 1.25" IR cut, and connect it in front of the 1.25" nosepiece
@Tech@ZWO#58289 ok thanks. I guess I should also get a pass filter to make best use of the camera.
