Those errors do not match up with the Cartes du Ciel ASCOM errors. The errors you show below are just after I disconnected the AM5, and powered it down to replace the power supply. You will find an identical set of errors at the around the 06:15 time. I don't remember the exact time of the ASCOM errors, but it was not at the time that these errors occurred. At no point during the ASCOM errors did I get a "mount disconnect" warning on the AM5 driver. I have gotten them in previous sessions. I have used the USB in the past, but find that the WiFi is very reliable and gives me more room on my USB for the cameras without problems.
I changed the power supply due to getting huge spikes at random intervals in my PHD2 graph:
My conclusion was that the connector was not secure enough in the AM5 socket and was causing very small power spikes (or outages). After I changed out the power supply, the spikes stopped. However, the next night, the spikes came back until I pulled the power cord and re-installed it. From what I can see, the connector is the 5.5mm x 2.1mm size. Since most of the connectors on the market are designed to fit both that size and the slightly larger 5.5mm x 2.5mm size, I believe that the connection is a sloppy fit. I would strongly recommend that ZWO upgrade the connectors on future mounts to the 2.5mm size for a more secure fit. I would also recommend a thumb screw as well to prevent accidental disconnect.
