sompi68 I ask Asiairpro to center the planets, it always comes out with a centering error, where am I wrong?
Centering makes use of plate solving (to find the current position of the telescope). To plate solve, you need a number of stars (typically between 20 to 100) to be visible.
With the camera exposure and gain that you have set for planetary exposure, all the stars are probably below the noise floor of the camera. I.e., plate solve is almost guaranteed to fail.
To get around that, just perform a GOTO to a position in the sky that is a degree or two away from the planet (so that the planet is out of view), temporarily adjust the exposure and gain to bring up enough stars, and center to that location.
When that centering is done, execute a GOTO (with autocentering turned off) to the planet. That should get the planet within the field of view, so you can use the slew buttons to center the planet manually.
