I'm currently testing the 2.0 beta, and super excited to see it on MacOS once it will allow me to install it there.

There are a few other missing features that make me want to switch away from the ASIAir. These would be huge to me:

Allow an option to slew to an Alt/Az position for taking flats.
Enable 5GHz station mode!!
Allow EQMOD's park to custom position function.

Does your WiFi router support what is called band steering?

If so, enable it, and the router will eventually tell Raspbian (the OS under ASIAIR) to switch over to 5 GHz. The eero mesh router does that to ASIAIR, for example.

What about the other two questions that the OP asked? Slewing to Alt/Az coordinate, and parking at custom position.

BTW, 5 GHz STA usage is common in the US. Right now, when I am not connected via Ethernet, I connect my INDIGO Sky (Raspberry Pi 4) to my network through 5 GHz WiFi with Station Mode. No instability.

I saw in a Facebook post that ZWO was continuing work to make 5GHz station mode available. Is that still the case?

Unguided dither pulses.

I just bought a Windows laptop to do this, but if ZWO adds unguided dither pulses I would sell the pc in a heartbeat.

The ASIAir could be great for EAA (Live mode) with a few enhancements.

Noise reduction
Unsharp mask
Gradient removal
Auto color balancing by aligning histogram peaks
Dither without guiding
Remove the last sub (helpful when a satellite blazes across)
