It does not look like a classic amp glow. But the fact that the light areas are perfectly aligned with the long axis of the camera (and also coming not just from one direction) is also suspicious. What is disturbing is that even a 1 second exposure shows this light pattern.
To get more insight, you might try:
1) rotate the camera angle relative to your OTA to see of the pattern rotates. If it is a light leak from the camera's opening that is coming from the OTA, the pattern should also rotate.
2) if the pattern does not rotate as you rotate the camera angle, remove the camera entirely from the OTA and cap it with a metal M42 cap (if memory serves, the ASI071 came with a metal cap with a rubber O-ring; you might try that). Take a similar exposure to see if the light pattern is still the same.
If the capped camera still shows this pattern, try to shield the heat sink opening and the fan opening from light (don't do it for long, so that the camera does not have the chance to heat up unnecessarily) and take another exposure. (Or place the camera in a refrigerator to take an image.)
If a stand alone camera in complete darkness still shows that pattern, you might have a defective sensor (I have an old ASI071 that I used as a primary camera for a year or so, and I don't remember seeing patterns like this -- it had tons of amp glow, but not this knid of pattern; an amp glow looks like a very bright spot at the boundary of the frame, with bright spikes radiating from it).
Since it is a new camera, you should have no problem in getting your store to replace it with another one (especially if you are in friendly terms with the store).
