Planetary stacking was added a few updates ago. It allows you to take a planetary, lunar, or solar video you took, stack it, and sharpen it. I suspect the DSO stacking, which apparently was added with 2.0, is similar. It will allow stacking a number of sub images and adjust the result.

Why does the SkyAtlas zoom out all the way when hitting „Center“ in the target selection? That makes no sense to me.

Ran 2.0 from the Play Store last night. Worked well and I like it. I wish it would leave the cross hair up till I turn it off though. Also if I zoom out on the planetarium it should stay zoomed out till I zoom back in. Not automatically zoom back in each time I leave it. Still all in all a good improvement. I got used to the change of looks quick and like them. Now fix the histogram so we can control the colors. LOL

@ASIAIR@ZWO#60813 feature request, a big one that is need for live stacking. It would be a huge improvement to have the ability to adjust the RGB colors along with the contrast and brightness in the histogram. Look at ShapCaps and or watch someone using those adjustments. Makes for a much much better live stacked image.

ASIAIR mini v2.0 cannot connect to the Skywatcher EQ5 PRO selecting Skywatcher SynScan or Skywatcher SynScan beta, with the USB cable connecting between ASIAIR mini and the USB port on SynScan (v5) hand controller.

Then, I tried connecting the USB cable between ASIAIR mini and the USB port on EQ5 PRO mount directly, however, same result.

I tried both baud rate 9600 and 115200.

dickson Make sure that you align the telescope with the SynScan Hand Controller before you try to connect to the HC. It wont connect if you have not first aligned the scope. I use the 2 star alignment.

My EQ5 didn't have a USB connector. I used a cable to connect from the USB on the Air to the hand controller RJ45 on the mount and selected the EQMod driver.

Having a wonderful time with this update so far. The new functions with rotation and mosaic planning makes my life so much more easy. Love it

The-Vman I have done the star alignment on SynScan hand controller before connecting the ASIAIR.
That's why I report the issue.

franco Thanks for your info. Let me get the EQMOD cable and try connecting with EQMOD method.

Currently, the USB cable I have is straight-through that both ends are USB connector. EQMOD is the cable having USB in one end and another end is 8-pin RJ45 connector plug to hand controller port on the mount.

OK I give up it has become frustrating to say the least. You can not get a decent live view on the screen using the ASIAIR. You can with ASI Studio. At least in studio you can adjust the histogram and get a great live on screen image up in minutes. Not so with the ASIAIR OS. 2.0 has a lot of improvements but the lack of histogram control is a deal breaker for me. I like to broadcast live views and it is not possible with out have such controls. The image just has no color and lacks details. If one had better control that wouldn't be a issue and in just a stack or two you could start making huge improvements quickly. . I do not understand why you could not have done so for the ASIAIR OS what you did for the ASI Studio. Makes no sense to me to leave such an important control out of the OS. Looks like I'm back to using cables and SharpCap as much as I hate the idea it is the only way I'll ever get this to work correctly for me and how I live to view the skies. I'll keep checking in for a while in hopes there is a histogram control feature added. Until then CEE YAA.

scopesnc Liveview/LiveStacking and histogram function work for me. iPadPro with ASIAIR Pro and Ethernet connection from the AAP to the wifi satellite. Camera is the ASI294C. Do you want to change the colors individually?

I tested the new version 2 lately and i have to say it’s such an improvement in all aspects over the v1 branch The EAF now provides tack-sharp and in-focus stars. The setup routine with the sky-atlas, rotation and mosaic are a pleasure to use. Overal the image quality from my last session on IC 1396 did outperform the images of the same target from 2 years ago.
