Please expose OFFSET in the ASCOM driver

I would like the ability to set and record the OFFSET value in the FITS header of captured images (using SGP). Currently the ZWO ASCOM driver does not support this properly. The value can only be changed in the ASCOM driver, not within client applications like SGP. Likewise, the OFFSET value cannot be recorded in the FITS header when using the ASCOM driver.

This has been an issue for years and while this is a minor thing, I would appreciate if the ASCOM driver would handle offset properly.

buckeyestargazer OFFSET is a feature of ASCOM platform 6.5. However, some users encounter difficulties in installing the ASCOM platform 6.5. In order to be compatible with more users, we have not added OFFSET. We will consider your proposal as soon as possible. Thank you for your feedback.

On ZWO's "Software and Drivers", the use of ASCOM platform v6.5 is recommended. Therefore, its features should be supported by ZWO's ASCOM camera drivers. The potential of setting OFFSET in the image acquisition software and recording the value in the FITS header is important for everyone who uses a modern CMOS camera. This will be the vast majority of astrophotographers these days. It's high time that ZWO's ASCOM camera driver fully supports offset.

By the way, current version of the ASCOM platform is v6.6 SP1!
