Can I use the ASIAIRplus for Camera/image control only?

My mount works very well but not with the AAP.
Can I use the AAP for for basic Camera/image control only (i.e., exposure gain live stacking etc) without turning on the mount in the Asiair application? or...
Can I disconnect the mount from the AAP, leave the mount setting at <none> and use the camera functions (without,slew, tracking, plate-solve or guiding) and control my mount separately?

tyco yes, you can do whatever you want - AA app doesn't need a mount connected in order to work.
