Never, ever use the data cables that come with your camera from ZWO. Go shop (Mouser, DigiKey, Amazon, or directly for companies that sources USB cables) for a cable that is spec'ed to be shielded, and have a length that is as short as can be, and still be able to reach from your computer to the camera.
This may or may not completely solve the problem of your camera's USB port, but at least it should minimize the problem, and might make the interface start to work.
Also, with your camera, you probably won't benefit from the speed from a USB 3 cable. Try a USB 2 cable (you can tell the difference from the shape of the Type-B connector -- USB 3 has that extra hump). Both ends of the USB cable will revert to using USB 2.0 protocol automatically (USB 3 is spec'ed to do that), and USB 2.0 is less demanding (both circuit design and PCB layout wise). That might also make your camera become usable.
