komiya I want to know about the power spec of ASI 174 MM (for example power consumption).
For some reason, ZWO does not publish useful engineering specifications.
However, I just measured the current consumption of an ASI174MM (USB 3 version), and see 0.11A at quiscient, 0.31A when continuously capturing at 32µs exposure time (full ROI, frame rate 8.6 FPS), and 0.17A when continously capturing with 1 sec exposure time. USB source voltage at 5.02V.
At ROI of 320x240 pixels and 32µs exposure (faster frame rate, about 150 FPS), I also see 0.31A.
The camera does get slightly warm (the back of the camera measured about 6ºC above ambient temperature).
