ZWO ASI174MM (non-Mini) dropped frames

I am using a USB3.0 ZWO ASI174MM on a Windows 11 i7 machine with SharpCap 64bit version 4.0.0521. I am running the same version of software on a i5 Windows 10 machine with the same version of SharpCap installed (64 bit). The camera works fine on the i5 machine with 0 dropped frames, but when it runs on the i7 machine, 100% of the frames are dropped. On this same machine, the 174 runs fine in The SkyX, NINA, and FireCapture. Any idea why it's not working on the i7 machine?

The USB Turbo was set at 40 and all USB power settings were optimized for maximum USB speeds/throughput.
The cables and USB ports (all USB3.0) are working (verified)
All Drivers are current/newest.
The ASI174MM works with Sharpcap as an ASCOM camera (albeit at lower fps)
All of my other ASI Cameras (ASI1600MM-Pro (2), ASI071-Pro, ASI120MM, ASI290MM, ASI294MM-Pro) work with no issues or frame losses.

Did you try different cables and USB ports?
Please test the ASI174MM in ASIStudio-ASICap, can you reproduce the problem?

If the problem exists in ASICap, please refer to this guide to catch the SDK log and send to us for analysis.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did reproduce the problem in ASIStudio. The USB3.0 Cable is new (I verified it with my ASI 294MM Pro) - and all software and drivers are current. Please see that attached log.

Is the OS of this computer 64bit? from the log, the SDK is 32bit, can you try the 64bit version ASIStudio?

Yes. The OS is 64bit and I downloaded the 64bit version of ASIStudio. The problem persists. Please see the new log attached.

Well, mystery solved. I got the ASI174MM working on both the i5/Windows 10 and the i7/Windows 11 machine.

But, I had to revert to an older version of Sharpcap: Version V4.0.9478.0. The ASI174MM works in both 32-bit and 64-bit mode on Windows 10 (i5) and Windows 11 (i7).

I noticed that in the next release (Version 4.0.9481.0) that the following changes were made: Updated SDKs from Altair, SVBony and ZWO – bug fixes and support for new camera models. Whatever was updated (I presume by ZWO to that SDK - interferes with the ASI174MM as all of my other ZWO cameras (ASI1600MM Pro, ASI120MM, ASI071-Pro, ASI294MM-Pro) all work with all versions (current and past versions of the software) on W10 (i5) and W11 (i7).

Whatever changes ZWO made to the SDK interfere with the new version of the software for the ASI174MM. Sounds as if you have a bug or other issue with the SDK.

JFYI. I downloaded the latest revision of the software (4.0.9529.0 - 64-bit) (with the new ZWO SDK) and the ASI174MM now works with SharpCap. Unfortunately, the ASI174MM still does not work with ASICap (64-bit) - but, this is more of an issue for you, as I do not use ASICap for planetary imaging.
