ASIAIR Plus software for windows 11?

Hey guys thank you so much for this great app and ZWO products!
I have the the AM5 mount and ASIair plus it's so fun to use and easy like 1 2 3!
I love my laptop windows 11 and I have everything for astronomy on it.
Is there any plan to release ASIair plus software for windows 11?
Like you download and install like ASIstudio?

Aleastro We don't have such a plan.
You can use Bluestacks to run the ASIAIR on Windows.

If you mean a Windows program to do the same thing - that won't happen because it is a whole different platform.

However, Windows 11 can run Android apps from Amazon App Store with a minimal configuration change (if your country is on the list where Amazon App Store is available).

The problem is, AsiAir is not published there yet and no idea if they would consider it. I have asked the same question some time ago without an answer. They simply need to publish the app on Amazon App Store.

There is BlueStacks (Android emulator) that I use on Windows 10 with out any issues.

gammerpc yes, I use the mouse. One thing that I found is that I have to manually enter IP address.

If win11 is up to date you can install the Windows Subsystem for Android and the WSATools app. Then you can sideload the ASIAir apk.
Works for me without any problems and, in contrast to bluestacks, also supports the unusual screen resolution of my Surface.
But the battery life is better on a good Android tablet.

Thank you for this, will look into that. In the field, I run from my iPad but when imaging from home, would be handy to be able to run from my desktop machine.

Hello, could you please say which version you are using.
I tried WSAtools but do not succeed with asiair APK 2 and 2.1?

I'm assuming you followed the instructions for installing Windows Subsystem for Android here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/android/wsa/

which also state:

WSATools currently requires a few prerequisites to work, otherwise you won't be able to use it:

Windows Subsystem for Android

Amazon Appstore (which includes Windows Subsystem for Android)

Android Debug Bridge (ADB - Which can be installed from inside the app if you don't have it!)

Corsair I have installed everything to my laptop and now I am waiting for my camera to arrive!
