ASI 120MC-S doesn´t work on USB3.0

Hello,

My ASI120MC-S purchased 6 months ago does not work on USB3.0 .

Since the purchase it has been running on an old TOSHIBA Satellite P70B-10T but ONLY on USB 2.0 port, it didn’t work on any of its USB 3.0 ports (but other devices did).
I thought it was a problem with the USB 3.0 of this old computer but now I have a brand new MELE Quieter3Q (With Win10 pro upgraded to W11) that only has USB3.0 ports (4 ports) and ASI camera does not work in any of them.

All ports are working with other devices.

I’ve installed driver version 3.21 and tried with ASIStudio and FireCapture but no one can detect the camera.

And yes, camera is working if I connect back to TOSHIBA.

joseluis Did you try other USB cables？ you may also try a USB2.0 cable.
And check if there is a new deivce appear in the device manager when you connect the camera, maybe the name is not ASI120MC-S, just unknown device or others.

Sometimes it might be the cable. I had my 120MM not working when connected with an USB3 cable to the normal USB2 port on AA, but working fine with an USB 2 cable. Just try a couple of them to be sure.
