Hi, I have a new SW CQ350 pro and my newtonian telescope crashed into the tripod leg twice. It is possible to set slewing limits on the CQ350 pro mount, but will the ASIAIR pro respect these limits when slewing to a position in the sky?
Robbe.
Robbe will the ASIAIR pro respect these limits when slewing to a position in the sky?
Hi Robbe,
Mounts will often ignore limits when you send slew (with those directional arrow buttons) commands, and only obey limits when you use GOTO commands, and also obey them when they are tracking. You should be able to check with Sky-Watcher if their mounts also behave this way.
