Kevin_A I was hoping to keep my scope wiring setups very simple and clean.
Kevin, this is how I keep everything clean (this picture shows the same OTA as yours, when I need more FOV than my FSQ-85):

One of the nice things about a (normal) strain wave geared mount is that third-axis is of no concern, which makes dual saddle mounts (I used a 10 mm thick plate) easy to implement.
BTW, notice that the Askar clamshell can be reversed, so that the dovetail plate can be shorter, and more stable.
The ASIAIR is mounted inside a waterproof box at the base of the Willaim Optics tri-pier that I leave outdoors (including the RST-135). A single power cable reaches the dual saddle's power hub, and a sibgle USB cable from the box is connected to a USB hub on the saddle plate.
I have a couple of configurations for the guide scope. You see a Askar 180mm here, but I have also adapted a Borg 55FL objective on the same Askar 180 body to get a longer guide focal length (250 mm).
Here is a "top view" of the saddle plate:

To mount the OTA on a plate, I did have to make my own adapter plate for the EAF so that the EAF does not stick below the dovetail plate of the main OTA (ZWO again wasn't thinking when they made that plate so the EAF sticks below the declination plate):
