Would it be possible to add hot pixel correction to live mode so when doing EAA with ASiair and uncooled cameras we can get better results without application of dark frames? (note: SharpCap and Jocular do this) Thank you for your consideration.
+1 on this feature request. It would make EAA simpler, because dark calibration would not be necessary for low thermal noise cameras such as the ASI533MC Pro.
I agree, this would be a helpful addition for EAA.
I forwarded this to our ASIAIR team. thanks for your support and feedback.
Tech@ZWO It would appear that the pixel correction/rejection still needs work in general for cooled and uncooled cameras when Live Stacking even with Dark calibration frames being used.

Tech@ZWO just curious if pixel rejection (I.e. processing of hot and cold pixels) in Live Stacking is still being worked on?
Subtracting dark frames removes hot pixels, but in the case of Air's Live mode, the color balance collapses, highlighting the red channel. Therefore, I also want this function.
Corsair Our ASIAIR team are considering this, does not on the TODO list yet.
Tech@ZWO it would be awesome if you did. It would make the results from Live Stacking with calibration frames even better!
Tech@ZWO Just following up on this. Has the pixel rejection (i.e. processing of hot and cold pixels) in Live Stacking / Live Mode been worked on over the last few releases since this was raised last year? @PMTeam@ZWO
I’ve been wondering why I don’t get good star colors… It could be the the issue noted by @LovelyNights
I’m waiting for a new AM5 to arrive, then I’ll post fresh images to this thread.
Corsair Have not added this feature yet.
