Hello. I am getting a new error when using the ASI Studio or PHD2 with the subject camera. When I take an exposure, I get "exposure failed". I can connect the camera, but it won't take an image. I have tried changing USB cables and ports on the laptop but nothing changes. I can operate my ASI 6200 just fine. I first noticed this when I was using PHD2 as I kept getting a "PHD2 has lost connection with the camera" message, so I tried with ASI studio to make sure it wasn't PHD2.
It's strange as I can connect the camera in both ASI Studio and PHD2. It shows as connected and shows the specifications (pixel, gain, binning). But when I try to operate the camera, the software says it is exposing but then the "exposure failed" message pops up. I tried cleaning out the connector as well but doesn't make a difference. Is there any other troubleshooting I can do? Thanks.
