On ZWO site the cutoff for OAG-L and regular OAG is 4/3” a sensor. However the 294mm has a 4/3” sensor. So 🤷🏻‍♂️?
Will be on an EdgeHD 11 with focal length 2800 or 2000 with reducer. Guide scope will be 174mm mini.
Or would it be better to use top mounted guide scope with this OTA?

urbanimager If you have EdgeHD 11 and ASI174MINI, OAG-L is recommended.
OAG has a small prism and will have vignetting when working with ASI174MIN, and due to the small FOV, it's hard to find guide star, changing to OAG-L with a large prism will improve the problem.

In addition, also need to pay attention to if there is a 55mm back focus length solution with your devices.
What EFW do you have? OAG-L only can be connected to EFW by the screw holes, there is no thread on the camera side.
Here are some connection ways for your reference.
