Advice request for upgrading my basic system

Hello – I am in need of some advice for upgrading my system.
I current use a HEQ5 mount with a Canon 7d Mark 2 camera and a Canon 100-400 zoom lens.
I get ok pictures, but there's always something off – little out of focus, slight star trails, off center picture, etc.

I've done a little research and I think my next step is to get
Asiair Plus
ZWO Mini Guide Scope
ASI290MM Mini guide camera
ASI2600MC-Pro main camera

And then maybe in a year or two, after saving up money, pulling the trigger on an actual telescope.

There are so many options and cameras, that I'm not sure that's the best setup or not. I'm currently just doing basic nebula photography, I haven't even tried galaxies yet.

I also have an HEQ5, the ZWO Mini Guide Scope, the ASI290MM Mini guide camera and an ASIair Mini.
You will get excellent autoguiding. I'm under 1 Arcseconds total error with a 6-7kg rig.

I'm not sure if you should get a ASI2600MC-Pro before investing into an decent APO refractor.
I'm running a Sony a7iv with an 500mm APO. The only downside to this is, no a lot of HA and more noise.

I experienced a lot of chromatic aberration on stars with camera zoom lenses and even prime lenses.
Pink Stars, halos.. you name it.

So my advice is:
Get the asiair, guide cam and guide scope, you will be able to get good results with your existing camera and lense. See from there where to upgrade further.
