Zzzz
You did not go to the Park position in your description.
I encountered this issue when doing the following:
1) Go to Park (scope pointing west)
2) Go Home by hitting the button
3) Slew to a target in the East (perhaps crossing the meridian from west through north to east causes the issue)
4) Enabling tracking fails at this point.
If you do Park, but skip hitting the Home button, and slew directly to the same target in the east, the mount keeps tracking without an issue.
These are my own observations. I did not spend more time on this because I won't use the Park button since I don't like the park coordinates. I can use NINA to slew the cope to my desired coordinates and set tracking to off, which will park the scope where I want it.
