Thank you for your reply even though it's discouraging. I find it interesting that ZWO develops a very useful device, ASIAIR Plus, then ignores the most prevalent and powerful OS on the market, the PC with Windows, when writing the software to connect to and use it. This problem with using the ethernet connection to the ASIAIR to transfer files back to the PC seems related to the first approach. I am running my ASIAIR through the ethernet connection using BlueStacks, so obviously I can connect to the device. If I can connect to the device via ethernet cable then I should be able to "see" the internal file storage hardware and access the data stored there. The only obstacle present is apparently the ASIAIR OS does not want you to be able to do that. Nothing I just said is meant to criticize you or your reply. It's only my way of venting my frustrations with freely being able to use the hardware I spent my money buying. Take care.
